1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL (W113 MODEL) is a US-market example that was sold new in Los Angeles , California and serviced at Hollywood Mercedes-Benz until sometime around 1974. It was previously owned by the President of the North Bay Mercedes-Benz Club of America and is believed to have been registered in California all of its life. Refinished in the original White, the car is equipped with a contrasting black Pagoda hardtop, hubcaps, and interior. Power comes from a mechanically fuel-injected 2.8L inline-six, which is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission , Has records showing over $40k in service work, glove compartment booklets, an M-B Data Card, and a clear California title. The White exterior (050G) is believed to have been refinished at some point in the past. A few chips are noted around the edges and nose, along with areas of some overspray. The engine compartment shows to remain largely unrestored, and records indicate that the engine has been rebuilt in the past. Both hard and soft top are available and in good condition "This car is not located at the dealership and only available for viewing with an appointment and subject to prior sale "
